Presidents Day

On Saturday 3rd July, to coincide with the last junior training session of the season, Bloxwich will be holding a Presidents Day.
This will be a full day of events culminating with a BBQ at the clubhouse.
The day is as follows;
9.15-10.15am Olympic Games for our growing junior section. This will be hosted by Olympian hockey player Kali Takhar, who will also present medals, to our younger Bears
10.15-11.15am Kids fun hockey tournament, for Polar Bears and Grizzly Bears. Presentation by Kali followed by refreshments
Something new and exciting is next- Walking hockey- no running allowed! This is open to all members , old and new, all parents, and anyone that would like to give it a try.
11.45-1pm A fun mixed adult tournament that everyone can join in and running is a bonus!
From 1pm Celebrations start at the club with a tribute to our former President Tony Haywood, where we can say goodbye and celebrate his life.
We will then welcome Sharon Beck as our incoming President.
Finally there will be a presentation to four new Honorary Life Members.
The BBQ will begin and the bar will be open.
We're even having a Bake Off- so get baking too!
